Thanks for the all the replies. Yes - I did a hard reboot (pressing the volume button for 15 sec) three different times over two different days. Didn't pull up any new update. It may be just different VIN#s. BMW X7 also has the same weird rolling updates. Maybe the car manufacturers should give a call to Apple...

Agreed, my wife's 2020 BMW X5 has gotten two over the air updates, but at least they let us kind of control when they installed.

I took delivery of SE on 11.16 and yikes, I'm at 1.9.2 - no prompt for an update as of yet.

That's the menu through the live apps - not the main system. You need to go back to main menu and scroll to bottom that says software updates. On the right side - it will either say 2.0.3 or 2.0.4.

I picked up my car on 9/15 - and that menu looks similar to what I have.

@Hoosbest Thank you for the reply, I was thinking maybe I was in the wrong section.

Checked mine today. Purchased this past Monday. Last updated late October and is 2.0.3. Did hard reset, still says software up to date.

Interesting. It seems like I went from 2.0.3 to 2.0.5, without receiving any prompts. In the morning I was still on 2.0.3, so this must have installed while the car was in my garage some time this afternoon. According to the screen, it was installed... tomorrow? (perhaps the software is on UK time.) We'll see what happens when I drive it around in the morning, the message is, as always, comically vague about what improvements were made to what. On my way back home from a short drive to the grocery store a few minutes ago, I noticed that the brake hold wasn't working at stoplights as it normally does, yet it is enabled in my settings.

Wow - that makes the update conversation even more interesting. First we heard a 2.0.5 is out! Maybe I will be lucky and get that one at some point Certainly a lack of info from LR or the dealer. Apparently no rationale on how these are getting rolled out. Everyone makes it sound like 2.0.4 fixes a most of the issues.

Im on 2.0.3 with no issues as of "yet". Only had since Monday, though, have put 350 miles on it. Yesterday, I did a hard reset and no prompt to update. I watched the PowerUK and that is what they did. My last update was October 29th and says up to date. Weird.

Crazy, mine did it today too, mid-day EST. No notifications. haven't noticed any changes yet.

Quick question, does anyone know how to get my app back? I don't have the calendar or the weather apps - not sure how I lost them or how I get them back....is there some trick to get them back?

I noticed someone said reset network connectivity - not sure if you are meaning the reset at the bottom of the WIFI and SIM card; can you confirm?

Thx.

Mike
