Whenever I "lose" the weather app, I usually also lose Spotify and InTune at the same time. Normally, a Pivi Pro reset revives them all (push the power button for about 15 seconds while idle, until the screen goes blank, release the power button sit back and and give the system at least a couple of minutes to fully restart), but after a few days those same apps will often be gone again. That's one of the many small annoyances I am hoping this update will fix.

Thanks - I have tried it a few times to no avail. Its like it isn't on the system anymore. I was hoping one of these updates would add it back but oh well. Its a small thing in the scheme of things but I did like it for the few days I had it. Got the car in early July and had it maybe for 2 weeks off and on. I never saw it on the screen LR4USN shared above.

Thx for the response.

Mike

I just checked my truck this evening and yes it tested positive for 2.0.5. Feels like the COVID pandemic on updates-one never knows. Seriously I received 2.0,3 after I had the Defender on 16 October -secretly and this the same. Maybe if it is a small update it doesn’t bother one with the lock the door process. I just sent an email to my dealer talking about the updated notification. Oh well good luck to all.

Perhaps they just figured out how to make 2.0.4 upload in the background, without the driver's prior consent, and they pushed it out as 2.0.5 to those who had yet to receive it.

Thanks all. Looks like the genie came over night - and now have 2.0.5.. The hard reset trick never worked but simply downloaded itself while car was in garage and locked. Will report to see this version fixes the needed improvements on things like Sirius/App drop, etc. All seems fine on the initial startup and doesn't appear I lost anything. Wifi still connected and Sirius favorites intact!

Picked up this past Monday, Sept 18 build - One for the record, I posted in another thread, I have no version at all. Service Manager, noted the SOTA server is down, but he didn't seem concerned I'm version-less. (via email with service mgr)

Just do a hard reset. I had that while the software was loading at one point. I bet that clears it up.

So, remove the positive battery cable for 5 mins?

No- just hold the volume button for 15 seconds until it reboots. That clears most things.

I just tried the 15-second reboot and I still have no SW version. Oh well...
