Haven't gotten around to It...has been sitting on my work bench...with the piping and stainless steel sheet metal (for the fabrication of a air tank bracket)...lol

I plan on putting it either under the ARB compressor in the engine bay or under the defender...there are tons of unused riv-nuts under the defender...I may just use the side rail area...where the factory air suspension tank is one is located. I have the Lucky-8 rock rails to protect the tanks...they go far under the sides and there are considerable sized cavities that the tank should fit.

I'll try and keep this post updated.

Thank you SO MUCH for posting this apology!!! I see so many threads with people posting about things like problems with 'there breaks' or similar. I sort of have the feeling that the internet is going to be the death of any sort of grammar or spelling. I would love to buy you a beer or 6 for this
If we ever meet, this is Steve from GAP Diagnostic. I am based in Europe, but I do get around. If you ever see me at a LR show or similar, remind me who you are and beers are on me!

Ok, I'll bite. What's the issue with air quality with the compressor under the spare tire mount?

I live in snow country during the winter and travel on lots of dirt roads throughout they year…I think a rear spare tire door mount would beat up the ARB…the air filters would have to be cleaned constantly…if the air is too dirty it would kill the air pistons internals eventually. I know that they are super robust, but I want it to last. I don’t use it too much but I also don’t want it to be unnecessarily exposed to dirt and snow.
