I usually don't use the Auto Brake Hold function, but since the Defender has the annoying habit of rolling backward on inclines, I wanted to activate it while stuck in traffic on a hill. However, I discovered that the button is missing!
Previously, there were three buttons on the screen - Screen On/Off, Screen Mode, and Auto Brake Hold. Now, the first two are still there, but the third one is gone. I couldn't find this function anywhere else either.
When checking with GAP Tool, I can see that the relevant configuration is still activated, but the menu button is missing. It's possible that this happened after updating to software version 4.3.0, but I can't say for sure.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to get it back?
I activate it by just giving the brake an extra deep press with the foot after I come to a stop. Never used the soft button.

+1 for double pressing the brake to activate it. I can't stand the bloody auto brake hold. I've never experienced any car where it was seamless and unintrusive.
Looks like I found the button – it has now moved to the camera view page!
Seems like some IT guy really wanted to earn his annual bonus, and since he couldn’t come up with anything smarter, he just relocated the button from one page to another!
Thanks also for the suggestions to solve this with the brake pedal – I didn’t know that was an option, so I’ll definitely give it a try!
This is pasted from the manual. There are two versions of BRAKE HOLD. AUTO HOLD and ON DEMAND HOLD. Auto Hold is activated through the soft buttons using the PIVI screen. Brake Hold is always available whether Auto Hold is activated or not. I use Brake Hold often, but it sometimes is confusing to those who aren’t aware of it and unintentionally activate it by an inadvertent extra hard press on the brake pedal.
