This upgrade kit looks great, what gets me nervous is pulling parts off that tend to break or cause clips and bits to fall off inside body panels😬

Hearing the plastic clips crack was terrifying but in the end nothing major broke. I did lose three of the little plastic clips, but the PUK kit comes with four extras so I was all set.

One other wrinkle - my (US spec) 110S P300 has some kind of sensor attached via a short wire to the left/driver’s side panel that I didn’t want to remove. As a result I had to bring a step stool over to rest that panel on so it wasn’t dangling and in the way as I worked on the rest of the steps for that side. Nothing similar on the right - that one simply came off and I set it aside.

Good luck!
Hi Mike,

So when your clips fell off, I'm guessing they fell inside the rear body panels somewhere? And if so, I wonder if they're rattling around?

Powerful UK's kit is great, fast and affordable. Installation was easy.

Has anyone mounted reverse lights under the bumper, maybe flanking the tow hitch?

Im my case there’s no telling where they’ll go. I lost and eventually found two. The first one fell right to the floor as I was taking off the panel. The second fell inside the body of the car between other plastic bits. I found it on the floor a few days later. The extras that come with the kit were super helpful.

I suppose you could do that but you’d need a custom mount and you’d also have to lengthen the adapters to span the extra distance. I’d also imagine they’d get beat up in that position especially if you off-road.

Yup. Nothing on the garage floor. But I didn't hear them rattling around either - it's a long way from the front of the car, and there's enough road noise. So it all worked out.

They do indeed look more OEM, but for a bit north of £200 ($244usd) more... not sure I'd have changed the choice I made. Always good to have options, though!
