Default Battery replacement

Thought I would share my thoughts based on my battery replacement from today. I’ve read that some folks are able to squeeze the battery out without removing the front passenger seat and others have removed the seat. I found that it’s quite easy to remove the 4 bolts holding the seat in place, at which point you can simply move it forward towards the dashboard and prop it up a bit to gain plenty of access to wrestle that heavy battery out. There is no need to fiddle with any under seat wiring this way and you still have room to work.
There is a length of positive battery cable that runs from the forward post to a post closer to the rear of the battery. It’s easier to remove the cable from this secondary post and lift it out with the battery. Then change it over to the new battery while on the bench.
Another helpful tool was a battery carrier strap that slips onto the battery posts.(old school). It was helpful when attached to the negative post to help lift and slide out the battery.
I used an Interstate battery, group size 49/H8 that was identical to the OEM LR battery I removed.
Hope this helps others in the future.
