Yes, but there's a big BUT with these and I stopped using them. They have to be on quite tight. And the battery hold down has to be on tightly as it should be. Otherwise, these sleeves can pull up off the battery posts over time and cause the same issues as a loose battery cable.
Ken, I have shimmed the battery clamps with a toothpick. Anything to take up space. Worked well.
A few years ago I graduated to deforming the clamps just a bit with a pair of Vise Grips. That has worked well for me.
p.s. And yes, they are Vise Grips. Not vice grips, as they are so commonly misspelled here and elsewhere. Vice grips would be a whole 'nuther thing ...
I got sick of dealing with shims and installed a set of mil-spec battery connectors- I would highly recommend this mod, like a top 5 mod I would make to a Disco.

You have to cut the stock battery cable as long as possible because there isn’t a lot of extra cable to work with. I have a group 65 battery which is a little wider which negates a lot of that problem. Carefully strip the wires with a utility knife before crimping the terminals on. I have a cheap hydraulic crimper ($40) which is a really worthwhile purchase if you will be doing any sort of electrical work.
The fit is great and I haven’t had any battery related electrical issues since installation.
