I changed air filter element at 20K miles just "for fun" and I do a ton of off-roading. It was sort of dirty. Not awful though. It's cheap and easy.

And I'm doing oil changes every year irrespective of mileage. SO now I have 22k on the car but it's 3 years old so I've done an oil change every February.

I figured I'd do the air filter every other year -- ie every 2 years. I can't remember what's on the service schedule says but it was much longer and the dealer didn't do it at the 2 year / 20k service.e

Weird, but if you look at when those two specs came out, the one with logically (numerically?) lower numbers is newest.
From the LiquiMoly manufactures web site - Top Tec 6200 is approved for ACEA C5, Ford WSS-M2C 956-A1, Porsche C20, VW 508 00, VW 509 00. The Special Tec LR is approved for ACEA C5, API SN, Jaguar / Land Rover STJLR.51.5122. Not sure where the info about Top Tec being the updated spec comes from, but I prefer to use an oil specifically called out as JLR approved.

The funny thing is if you enter the Defender P300 as the vehicle in the search on the liqui-moly site it suggests Top Tec.

The newer STJLR spec is on the label of the Top Tec 6600 0W-20 oil from Liqui Moly.

I agree, it's confusing.

The Castrol version is equivalent of course. Those are the only two oils available in the states that meet the specs AFAIK.
