Thanks, yes I've seen Sarek's posts. I have relatives in Richmond VA so might think about it - his shop looks like it does a lot of cool Defender mods.

 

Maybe better (and cheaper) to get the dash mount for an iPad - then use that for navigation and still have the other for def related controls

 

Better? Why?
I, for one, despise cables and carp all over the dash. For me it's def worth the extra cash outlay. The only thing that could have me running an iPad or similar is if I can't run whatever app I need/want through the main screen. But there might be something coming that alleviates all such problems

 

Totally agree regarding the carp...A nice trout or large mouth bass....Whole different story...!

 

The 13 inch can be retrofitted
