Default Bigger MY22 Screen

In going over the build for my MY22 p300, I noticed that the top & bottom bezels of the 11.4" curved screen are not even. I'm assuming it's because it would be harder to tap along the bottom edge, but the lack of symmetry is really bothering me
Thinking about going with the smaller screen because of this. Anyone else notice this?

I wonder if they can correct that with an update?

Now I am wondering if its intentional due to the location of the shifter control

That was my thinking initially! It looks like they're using the same screen in the 2022 Disco 5. A very strange design choice for what is essentially the focal point of the interior.
