Both sun visors vanity lights do not operate when mirror flap is opened
Both sun visors vanity lights do not operate when mirror flap is opened. Any ideas as to what fuse this may be?
Also, The dome light up by the rear view mirror comes on when I open any door, but I'm not sure how to turn it on manually. same goes for the cabin interior lights. is there a way of turning them on once driving?
thanks,

JLR doesn't explicitly state which fuse controls the dome lights and visor lights, but it is likely fuse #31 in the passenger compartment fuse box located behind the glovebox. Fuse #31 is for the overhead console.
Sounds like your “on-demand interior lighting” circuit is blown, shorted or has a bad fuse. The dome lamps have 2 circuits and can work when you open the doors -- but not work when you turn them on manually (hence, on-demand).
PS I posted the 3 circuit diagrams in this post: https://landroverforums.com/forum/20...switch-123953/

Thanks, NashVagas! per the drawing you posted, it seems that all my issues with "Ambient Lighting" and "On Demand lighting" all come from the Assembly BCM-GWM.
is that an easily replaceable module? can you tell me the location of it? and anything else i need to know before performing surgery on it.
Specifically, it looks like an issue with; O_Demand _Interior_Lighting_1 C2BP01A-8 (not sure what C2BP01A-8 is) as its common to all my issues with both on demand lighting and ambient "Mood" lighting.
hoping i can replace it easily.
any more info would be appreciated.

I would bet it is an issue with the wiring and not that module. The BCM-GWMis “body control module” - “gateway module” -- BCM is big deal module that you don’t want to be replacing - it controls most everything on the car related to passenger comfort etc. It’s also probably not the problem. It’s probably something with an output wire/connector or input to that module. I’d venture it’s not he output side because if it was input you’d get error codes. Are you, btw? (if you use a Nanocom or good LR type of scanner you may get trouble codes / diagnostic codes related to your error).
i dont have a code reader but everything that is not working all finds its way back to the output of the BCM-GWM at C2BP01A-8. is that a connector? Also, there is a point called S2BP57A that they all meet at. not sure what that is. maybe a tie point?
