Default Brief coolant level warning on cold start

Past few weeks have had the Defender parked outside overnight, and each AM I get a check coolant level warning that pops up for a few seconds when I start the truck, then it goes away. It doesn't come back at all throughout the day, but usually shows up again next AM on cold start. Have checked coolant level and it appears to be fine (right at the max level line). Is this a normal Defender thing (first winter with it). Temps not that cold (relatively speaking) where I am. Low 40's, occasional 30's overnight. Anyway, haven't seen this before with any of my other cars, so figured I'd check here for a quick sanity check. Thanks!

I've had mine for 1 1/2 winters now and I've never seen a coolant level warning, even when starting in colder weather than you mention.

Add a little coolant and see if that resolves it?

yeah, seems pretty obvious and apparently all it needed. i wasn't sure about adding more since the reservoir was showing it completely full, but mixed an ounce of LR XLC coolant with an ounce of distilled water and put it in, and appears to have solved the issue. (at least no warning today upon startup.) spoke briefly to service advisor about it and he said he's seen this behavior before and chalked it up to an "air bubble" somewhere in the system or a slight delay in the sensor registering the level, and said sometimes just adding an ounce or two of coolant even when it doesn't look like it needs it can do the trick. anyway, next time i'll use that common sense before posting thanks all.

This post will likely help the next person searching for an answer to this problem. Post away sir!
