I'll try to send you the follow up PM if you are able to clear your mailbox at all. If not, no worries and good luck with Nick today.

I live in Connecticut too and had poor experiences with all the JLR dealers in the state. I ended up ordering and buying from Jake Kaplan in Warwick RI (just south of Providence). No silly games, placed my order without a deposit and I paid sticker with no markups or extra unwanted options. I was very happy with the whole process.

Salesman was Glen Spardello and I would recommend him and the dealership

Depending on how your visit to LR Darian goes I’m happy to introduce you to my sales person at a NY dealership

matt

May I ask which NY dealership you went with? JLR Darien hasn't contacted me back after I sent them the build I wanted so it seems I need to try somewhere else.

I just picked up my 2023 110 a week ago from JLR Newport Beach. I ordered mine about 5 months ago with the "CRYSTAL CLEAR UNDERSTANDING" that since this was the 7th. vehicle I have purchased from them that there would be no mark up or deposit required with order. Fortunately I had some emails etc. prior to ordering that confirmed this. About a week prior to delivery I received a text from a "Relationship Coordinator" advising me that my car was in and could I come in and take delivery and "don't forget your check for the $10,000 premium markup fee. Needless to say I blew a gasket and since I was on a 7 hour flight from Sao Palo to Panama I had plenty of time to draft a response, revise it 15 times taking most of the dirty words out, and letting them know that since I had already sold my full size 2017 SC I was more than a little pissed and I would make it my lifes work to let everybody within my professional, personal, and social media groups aware of the underhanded bull**** they tried to pull at the last minute. End result no mark up, personal apology from the GM and the sales manager is now selling Kia's. For what it's worth JLR Newport Beach is a beyond great dealership, Thats why I've purchased 7 vehicles from them they have always treated me well. Now their service department is another story for another day. If you order the car DONT PAY THE MARK UP!

Who is paying for mark ups on non-limited run vehicles at this point? I test drove something last weekend. Full lot. I was apparently the third person that visited all day with five sales people standing around looking bored. Yes, I saw vehicles with markups on the window but is anyone still paying for it? Seems that demand destruction has started.
