Default Cable Management

Has anyone had any experience in passing cabling through the firewall into the interior? I'm going to add a second battery into the engine compartment along with a Redarc charger, and then send power back into the interior for auxillery use.

Also, has anyone come across any resources on how to remove interior trim? As part of this wiring exercise I'm trying to mount an sPod switch to the dash and it's 'brains' to the inside of the battery compartment.

Many thanks in advance.

Appreciate it, but that doesnt quite answer my question. I'm attempting to route through the firewall at the front of the truck, so I can locate the aux battery in the engine compartment.

Thanks.

Ohh Gotcha, I didn't read that close enough. See this thread: LINK Sounds like the grommet above the steering column is the best option.

There is a large rubber grommet under the wiper panels (engine bay) where the steering column goes through that has a large amount of space to plug a hole through for any wiring.
