Default Cluster panel problem

Hi there,
I need help with my cluster main panel. At night I can hardly see the instrument speedo or the tachometer. Very dark. I tried to adjust the brightness nothing is working . Any one knows the setting for this. I also have the HUD (HEADS UP DISPLAY ) option I have it set to the highest brightness however only stays max brightness does not dim.
let me know thanks
john

This has been a problem with the Defender since the beginning, and they haven't addressed it. Mine gets dim at times at dusk or dawn, but never dark enough to where its impossible to see, but its still very annoying. JLR has to be aware of this by now, but still haven't fixed it.

Did you try to adjust it manually? Mine works just fine.
