Does the sliding glass sunroof pop up? If so, does anyone know if this Thule set up would have enough clearance for the sliding sunroof?
also, the wingbar evo stick out quite a bit and i believe those are 127 (50 inches) bars. How many inches does each side of the bar stick out? I want to see if i can fit shorter bars to the podiums.
thanks!

can you elaborate? I thought the factory cross bar was a thule?
Just look at the photos of this thread from tartan. I like the design of this setup than the factory cross bars as you also can see photo of them online. When I said I like the design of the thule setup better, I was referring to the set up that you see in this thread from tartan. If the factory cross bars are also made by Thule, then I like the design of the thule kit from tartan in this thread more than the design of the thule factory bars.
I know we have had other threads started about roof racks, but not many conversations about cross bars for the top. I have a full Thule system for our kayaks that I will be migrating to the Defender.
Thule parts I am using are:
Thule podium feet
Foot kit 3112
60" Thule Evo Wing Bar (I may need a shorter one)
I will get pictures up as soon as I can confirm what pieces are needed. The foot kit is the same foot used for LR3/4 with the standard track system. The Defenders tracks look the same.
I also wanted to keep things from sliding all over the back of the Defender. So I ordered the track system from the factory for $150. It comes with the two tracks and four moveable cleats. I also picked up an OEM retention system used on many Rovers. So far it worked great to hold propane tanks from tipping over and sliding all over the cargo area. Here is a picture:
Pretty handy to have and fully removable when not needed.

Has anyone tried mounting the cargo track on PHEV?
Fit kit 3040 is the one sold by Thule in a few markets for the new defender. Don’t know if 3112 will work, but I have the 3040 and it works well. Podium feet 753 and evo 127 bars.
