Am I making this up? I wonder if I can buy the newer one and drop it in. Would be a good mod. I can see why JLR changed it, having lived for a bit with the older design here.
My RRSport has one smaller cup holder too.

On my 2016 Sport I had the fridge and it stunk that there was no storage and I wouldn't have gotten it again, but the 2020 sport had more storage above the glove compartment. The defender should have the same storage compartment and I bet they will, eventually.
