D or E rated tires?
I've only had experience with 3 AT tires: the factory Pirelli whose sidewall was promptly tore on the trail; Vredestein which is an excellent road focused AT tire which does very well on most trails, but didn't hold up traveling at 45 MPH on the Montana gravel roads; and the E-rated K03 which I now have on 18" wheels. The one thing that surprised me was how well they behaved on the highway and how comfortable they are running at the light load pressures. So far, no tears, no punctures and have done me well on very rocky trails.
