Hi all, as the dog days of summer are here now, I wanted to inquire around others experience with the fan noise from the I-6 engine. I know from past research that it can be somewhat loud, almost similar to a prop plane engine My issue however is with a rattling/popping component to the sound also coming into the picture. It doesn't sound smooth and almost like it's ready to break at any given moment. Has anyone else had a similar issue and if so, what was the outcome/fix?

Finally was able to get a confirmation of the issue by the local LR Dealership, don't have specifics yet on the failure but they are replacing the fan unit . Shop foreman seemed to think it was either a loose clip of some sort impacting the fan or even possibly one of the rotors being warped and hitting outside.
