I can nearly fit in my garage (maybe 1” to spare) in standard height but lowered no problems at all. I think my garage is standard height of around 80 inches. I do know lowered I cannot fit into underground garages of 6’ 8” but can at 6’ 9” in lowest the position.

No worries. Happy to help.

It's a question I wondered about myself before getting the car and rack.

FWIW my garage door is high enough even with the rack on. It's a pretty standard garage door here in the states.
