I ordered the 2022 Defender 110 in September, but I heard that due to the shortage of chips, and I chose the configuration with a head-up display and it may not be accepted by the factory. I expect to pick up the car in March next year.

If I insist on the head-up display, can I get the car in March next year? Or will it be faster to remove the head-up display?

 

considering that your order has not been accepted, theres a good chance itll be a 2023. HUD has been on back order since at least July.

 

On a small note, I’d hold out for the HUD. I personally find it extremely useful, safe, and a cool pleasure each time I drive. This is new to me coming from a 2013 RRS. I find it most useful to not speed too much and for HU navigation.

 

I second waiting for the HUD for all the same reasons. Works great, keeps me informed during busy freeway interchanges on the 405, and I dont have to take my eyes off the road.

 

Omg, at least July. That is too long...

 

I am also a HUD fan, how is the V8 defender?
