Anyone install this LED grill either from lucky8 or any of the other suppliers?

https://lucky8llc.com/collections/de...-grill-led-kit

IMHO, it looks like crap. Just like all the man-boys running around in their lifted-to-the-sky pickup trucks with neon light looking wheel wells and under carriages like it’s a clown car from the circus. One thing if it’s at a car show, but running down the highway like a tacky Christmas tree is not for all of us. But hey, whatever floats your boat. Goes from classy to ‘hey, look at me’. There seems to be an explosion of this goofy trend.

I think it looks good, but only if it is functional and improves what you see at night. I like the stock look of my defender but I know when you are off road you need extra lights and if this can substitute for a light bar on top and keep the stock look.

lolol HOW DO YOU REALLY FEEL!? I dont think it would add much useable light but I also dont think it looks like fast and the furious. fine line between cheap leds and a light temp that would match the headlights but I think it could look nice.... maybe im one of those MAN BOYS though

Agree, if you are going to add these lights, might as well just get a Ram.

I think a legitimately functional, factory looking light bar in that area would be so cool for the truck, but this isnt that for me.

There is a Defender here in Portland that has his installed -- it looked good at night (it was driving behind me on a road, and I noticed the car pulling out ...). Anyway turned out to be a friend's car and chatted about it and they said they love it. I also thought it looked cool (almost Rivian-y but not so huge of a light bar).

Anyway... to answer your question, I'd say it does not look cheap / tacky and it's not the wrong color etc... it matched the headlight / LED ring light color temperature exactly. I was surprised that I liked it as much as I did.

PS apparently it does a "night rider" left to right / side to side thing when you start the car.
