For me its a base with all off-road packages and towing package. Absolutely love my car for off-roading and was in the same situation between Bronco and Defender and Defender is just more comfortable in every way.

If I had a redo, that's the way I would have gone: base S w/ Off-road boxes checked, e-diff, and towing.

Same.

Got the seven seater and we have used the third row a grand total of once.

S P300 with all the off-road stuff +/- towing is the way to go.

Adding the tow package or TR2 means having air suspension. I like the air for the boring practicalities of fitting in my garage. Curious if you'd go air or coils and just add the receiver and omit TR2

Was on the build site today playing about with this spec. A minor point but one which is very welcome is that the rear recovery eyes are now a simple $250 option. A must and a no-brainer. Seems JLR have heard and listened to some feedback. Perhaps not.

Ooo. If two package adds air, that's a no for me. I'd go thru the PITA to after market install it. Agree, + the Tow eyes.
