I'm in Bend, Oregon, for the week at our house. Today, I saw two Defenders, a local and someone from Cali. The local was brand new 110x fitted with the offroad pack and tow kit. The Cali was a My20 that I believe was custom, like mine, as it had the badge delete as I do. It was rolling on 20's with road tires. It's funny because, besides my neighborhood in WA, there are 3(Grey, White, and Blue-mine); I haven't seen any in the wild for a couple of months.

With the addition of my Green yesterday we now have 4 in my Atlanta neighborhood: a street-parked Black (we’re in the city), a driveway-parked White, my neighbor’s driveway parked green 90, and mine (which gets a garage space.) Seeing the White one back in November (my first 110 sighting) is what put me in the mood. Then I saw another one in early March at a local restaurant and thought it was so striking I decided to replace my Jeep with one.

Saw zero in SE Utah during my week there in March or my week in April.

The Defenders in my area spend their time at retail stores and the front and center parking space at the local bagel shop. There are quite a few of them to. That's where most spend their time. Instagramming. It's their money so they can do as they please. But to answer your question, you just won't see them out and about on trails like you will Jeeps and 4Runners.

You can't throw a stone around here without hitting Jeeps or 4Runners, and the vast majority of them don't see trails either.

The only other Defender I’ve seen in my town is a blacked out Defender 90 at a house I pass by frequently. Until today when a nice Pangea P400 SE with paper plates was at my work parking lot. Imitation really is the most sincere form of flattery.

Default Now we’re talkin’

Okay, so sightings have picked-up in SoCal over the past two plus days, but none were better than this one:

I even had my first Jaguar I Pace sighting today in Marina Del Ray, in my color no less! A rare best to see in the wild.

I've only seen 1 (yes, one) on the road here in the Phoenix metro. It was towing a trailer-full of kayaks.

I see one every couple of days in the Minneapolis area.
But why the disdain for those who will never take theirs off-road? I think the reality is that they keep the Land Rover/Range Rover brands alive. Without them I doubt JLR would still be around. I only do mild off-roading but could care less what others do, and I'd wager to bet the majority of Jeep owners don't go off-road either.
