not going to be any easier with a Bronco. Mine is getting built next month. My reservation went in on July 14, 2020.

I only got my Bronco last month, also a first week reservation, and only because i switched to a soft top.

It aint gonna be that much easier to get than a Defender

In Europe they have already ditched the P300 for MY23.
I think they need them all for the P400e..

When I was in the market for a new vehicle last summer, the ford dealer told me my order for a bronco would not be fulfilled until Q3 or 2023.

SO that was an easy decision to go with the Defender. My P300 just came in a few weeks ago, sad to hear they are ditching the smaller engine. Wonder if that will hurt my resale value in the future?

They aren't ditching. They need p300 for evoques and discovery sport.

I found this on the web. It looks like the P300 X-DynamicS is going away on the 90. The engine itself will still be used for the 110 and the 90 but in certain model optionsDefender comes as either the two-door 90 or the four-door 110. Size and the door count are the major differences. Where they share trim levels, the content is virtually the same.

Larger and smaller versions of Defender are in the works and may also hit showrooms in 2023.

For the 90, Land Rover terminated the P300, P400 X-Dynamic S, and P400 X-Dynamic HSE but added the new P400 SE.

Gone from the Defender 110 trims are the P400 X-Dynamic HSE and the XS Edition.

Available trims for 2023 in 90 and 110 are P300 S, P400 SE, P400X, V8, and Carpathian Edition. Land Rover retained the P300 Standard as the base trim for the 110.

So does that mean the 110 P400 X-Dynamic SE (not HSE) is gone as well? I don't see a mention of it in your list. It's what I have (2022 model).

No clue, I just pulled this off the web when looking to see if the p300 engine was being retired.
