Obviously the seat covers and dog in second row is (will be) the easiest solution. And my dog will like it: he likes to be at open windows, so he can bark at the cyclist we encounter

I have these vents on the rear door windows of my 110, obviously not the best solution but they do allow air into the car and don't suffer from the normal wind buffeting noise associated with just having the rear windows open. They take 2 seconds to fit and also come in handy when car camping as it cuts down on condensation in the car and keeps bugs out.
I’ve been wanting these, do the auto-up windows stop when they reach these? Any issues you’ve had?
The auto up windows wont work properly with these installed, they just hit the vent and go straight back down again. But, it's easy to get the window up and then just tapping the up switch to get it into contact with the vent, it takes 2 seconds to do it. To fit the vent you have to have the window fully open and then tilt the vent to approx 45 degrees and then slide it up to the top in the window grooves. I've used them for car camping and just left them in place when out driving to get fresh air into the car, the mesh stops bugs getting in and the vents are pointing downwards so no rain can get in. I've had zero issues with them.
