Default Factory vs. Dealer or Port installed options

Hi all. I'm super excited to have just placed an order on a base model Defender 90. A few of the options that I chose include the Tow Hitch Receiver (not the Tow Package) and Front Fog Lights. I'm assuming that these will be installed at the factory since they were optioned with the build, but I'm not sure. Do you know if either of these will require front or rear bumper removal at the dealership or port level to install?

I've had a factory tow hitch added to my wife's Volvo XC70 at the dealership after the fact, as well as fog lights added to another unrelated car also at the dealership, but I'm hoping that my new Defender eventually arrives in one piece -- and stays in one piece if possible.

Thank you Barstoolman for the suggestion. I'll definitely reach out to the dealer, but was hoping some of the experts here would have insight as well. I'm hesitant to ask the dealer anything of substance since when I went in to order it, the salesperson was "still learning about the new vehicles" so they had me sit in their chair and build and price my Defender on the consumer website so they could send a screen grab of the summary to the manager for approval. Not exactly confidence inspiring.

Don't feel bad. Mine not only did the same, he asked me to back the demo out of a parking spot because he was "afraid" and he "could never figure out how to put it in reverse". Second time I saw him a few weeks later, he had been promoted to internet sales manager.

If you look on your order sheet, options starting with a number (0 or 1) will be factory installed.
Options starting with "DF" will be port installed, or dealer installed if the port doesn't have the parts.
So your fog lights 064AP = factory installed
Tow hitch 028LB = factory installed

I think the big difference is the LR factory does not install any "accessories". That seems to be mostly a dealer thing or possibly one of the port install options if they have the part available. Anything under the "options" category are installed at the LR factory like the tow hitch receiver.
