Default Front wiper arm torque value

I had a weird issue earlier this week - my passenger side wiper arm stopped moving. It would still "twitch" when running, but was otherwise dead. It's been rainy and annoying and I haven't had time to take it in. This morning I decided to look at it myself, and after popping off the rubber cover, I found the nut that holds the arm to the wiper motor was loose. I tightened it and fixed my own problem, so a real win there (and annoyance I didn't bother to check earlier in the week). Now the question is, does anyone know the torque value for that bolt? I have it snug because I don't want to strip it but would love to be able to tighten it properly.

It's worth noting they once loosened this to fix an alignment issue (dealer) and it MAY have been removed when I had the hood repaired / repainted after a sheet of drywall detached from the ceiling of my garage and damaged it (thankfully not the windshield!). So while this would be my first "issue", I'm not sure the factory can be blamed in any case. I've had really good luck reliability-wise.

Thanks for this - I was unable to find it searching online. I'm now also glad I took the cautious route, because 8NM isn't a lot!
