Heads up! To return your G3 via UPS you may need to supply a phone number for GAP. The phone number they gave me was 450-968-2111. Worked for me. My G4 is in transit as of yesterday.

Don't mean to be cheeky... but couldn't resist... there was word it might be imminent but not sure what that means. There was a beta program but not sure if that is still open (my contact to the company enquiring to be included went unanswered). Suspect buying a G3 then swapping it out may be a more expensive route if you are unable to wait?

 

I drive by GAP tool HQ at least 3-4 times a year.

 

ummmm I’m dead serious. The link to buy a G4 is 404… like I said and I’m very serious.

you can’t go to gaps website and buy a g4. I think if you have a g3 you can exchange but no mechanism to buy outright.

When you get to the opening window on their site type in “bt g4” in their search window and see what you get.

You are absolutely correct. All options involve an exchange. Either for under or over 12 months of purchase. There is no option for an outright purchase. I just saw the higher price and assumed it to be the purchase price. My deal was for the under 12 month. My humblest apologies.
