Just ordered one. Can’t wait to try it. Can the GAP tool be used to make the tire PSI display stay on permanently in the central instrument cluster area?
I often wish it wouldn’t time out when I am airing up my tires.
So I’m new to this game, but was able to enable fog lights with high beam, 007 screen, front seatbelt come, and dynamic mode.
However, I received an error that says ASL (Automatic Speed Limiter) is not available. Looked through settings on the defender and where ASL radial button is, it says it’s not available in my region
is this a known issue when activating any of the above? How do I turn it back on? Or with the changes made, is it just what it is?
Did you change all of these for the dynamic mode? Of all the things you changed I could see triggering an error if this one isn't done correctly.
Usually when I get an error I back out the change I just made. I also don't make more than one full feature change without checking that it works. Takes more time, but makes it easier to troubleshoot when and error comes up.

I emailed the GAP team to ask for it. this was their response. Hello
Changing the duration of this screen would require a firmware modification of the IPC which is not something we do.
The alternative way which is in my opinion better since you can walk around the car with your phone, Menu--Live Values, use the search box. Its in Kpa by default but you can change to PSI in the Units menu.

That's a very useful idea. It's really more on the deflation side where I want to see the live values so that's when having all 4 tires on the phone will be useful. I was tinkering with my Staun deflators some time back and I'm not sure I have hem dialed back in to my desired values just yet.
Airing back up I read the gauge on my ARB inflator so it gives me a live value as I fill.
Thanks for the idea. I wouldn't have thought of the live value section. Will use it on Saturday. Some snowy off-roading is planned.
I'm thinking about buying the GAP tool. I kept telling myself to buy one back when I had my LR4, but ultimately never went through with it. My biggest question is: with the L663, if you enable something via the GAP tool such as dynamic mode, will it still be there after a SOTA update? Or will it have to be reinstalled every time you get a SOTA update?

I've had two pivi software updates, 4.0.1 and 4.1.0, and nothing has been reset.
So thankful for the GAP IID tool, enabled most the features that have been listed and now dynamic mode is my everyday go to! Throttle response is drastically improved and combined with sport transmission the p400 is a blast to drive!

chpsk8...thanks. I did make all of those changes..I tried being very deliberate as this is my first time doing this.
I'll take that advice on multiple changes at once.
I'll also double check my changes again this week.
Keen to hear your feedback on the e-lift. I want to drop the off-road height a little, to give back some articulation. I typically drop back to normal height (in mud/ruts or rock crawl), but it would be good to have something in between, or a few options to dial up on demand.
It's not a nice feeling on your tippy-toes (in off-road height) when your outside front wheel drops in to a rut on the bend of a steep descent.
