GAP IID Tool Summary
You gotta be a bit more descriptive in telling me what yopu turned off and on; with a 2025 I have a hard time believeing you have water ingress which affects older RRs; but you could have a bad module or ground; Id check the grounds near the module for V loss.

- Needed 2 resets to PIVI for the app to appear in PIVI and a full car shut-down to clear the "Emergency Brake Assist Unavailable" error.
There are better wrenchers than me but my initial reaction, other than V loss etc which I doubt on your late model would be to ask whether you need to configure the park assist to your VIN using a download from patrick at GAP diagnostic.

Thanks Dave. I like your idea of reaching out to GAP to see if there's something that can be configured to my specific vehicle.
So here's an interesting data point...
I "thought" my auto-tilt side mirrors were disabled by some of my changes (I say "thought" because I was focused on the driver's mirror but I believe only the passenger mirror dips).
Not knowing what may have affected the tilt functionality, I re-enabled auto-folding mirrors as it seemed the most logical choice.
After re-enabling the auto-fold, Parking Assist now works.
I would have to disable the auto-fold function again to be certain this was the issue...may try that in a few days to confirm.

Well, although everything looks functional on my Pivi screen, the "Start" button is not working. I can see parking spots, select parallel or bay, and receive instructions to pull forward, etc., but Start is grayed out and non-functional. I'll have to reach out to GAP next week.
2020 Defender owner here. Just had the second DRL go bad. I'm not too excited about spending several thousands to fix it when it will probably fail again. Is GAP IID tool the best way to turn off the DRL's permanently?
I paid $378 for a replacement headlight. About 1 hour simple task to remove and replace. Basic tasks with basic tools. Simple simple job. Don't spend thousands.
Even cheaper is a repair. $2.38 for a new DRL module. Takes longer to do that but not hard. I now have a spare.
You can turn off DRL with GAP AFAIK.
I follow this thread, GAP IID TOOL SUMMARY, near daily although I do not own one. But reading all of the users posts and the features it can enable I’m seriously going down that path soon. Was reading a recent post about Park Assist, and my question is what years and models is Park Assist available on to enable. I have a ‘22 X Dynamic-SE 110, is Park Assist available in my year and model to enable if I purchase the GAP tool?
