cruise control will deactivate with seatbelt not closed. Not talking about the warning being disabled. Just seatbelt not closed.

Does your cruise and LKA work when you don’t use your seatbelt?

Hey Gavin - I will have to test this, I only tested the disabled warning buzzer for the seatbelts. We typically have the seatbelts engaged when driving.

I tested my 2026 today and the results make sense when you think about the purpose of each feature.
1- Chime being a safety reminder & nothing more, turned off it changes nothing else but your peace of mind and option to be an adult making your own choices ;- )
2- seat belt IN/engaged, of course both speed functions work as they should
3- seat belt OUT/OFF = ASL also continues to work. This is probably because it is a speed limitation, as opposed to a speed acquiring/holding function. It is based on sign/speed detection and maybe other sources according to the manual. For example when you have the "current speed limit graphic" on, the ASL will be at that limit as it changes while you drive through different zones.
4-seat belt OUT?OFF = "cruise control" NOT functional. The icon will stay greyed out. But if you click your seat belt into the slot, it will be available to use again. If you have it on with seatbelt in, then remove seatbelt, the cruise control will instantly turn off.

Also, LKA works the same regardless of seat belt being in or not.

I was able to drive my wife's glorious Defender today. Noticed that my ACC was gone. So was dynamic mode. We just had it at the dealer to diagnose the coolant warning light and to calibrate the sensors. Now my GAP settings are gone.

Anyone ever experienced the dealer resetting gap settings?

It has happened to me once as well when they had to update certain car modules.

I immediately thought it was LR locking everything down. I reapplied the CCF changes and everything worked as expected.

I did a big service since at the same dealership and nothing was reverted or changed… I think we are good

you need to quote someone to get your question seen, intentionally anyway.

I think you mixed up the first one,
ASL. Automatic Speed Limiter, which is a drive as you like normally UP to a limit speed. This is not the same as "cruise control" which tries to hold your speed at a user set number.
It's all in the manual pretty well described.

LKA Land Keeping Assistant - this has some features you can also change within the large touch screen inside the driver assistance section. Like only a lamp warning in the mirror or active steering wheel diversion inputs and/or vibration.

I think this warrants a new process prior to taking your Defender in for service; save your settings!!!! Then compare any changes the dealer may have made, then reapply.

Purchased a GAP tool from Lucky8 and did a bunch of re-programming on my 2025 110 V8:

Auto Fold mirrors deactivated
Fog lights on with high-beams
Configurable Dynamic Mode
Auto Start/Stop set to remember last setting
Tow Assist enabled
Parking Assist enabled

With Parking Assist, when I select the App from the App Screen with the motor running, I get a message that parking assist in unavailable. If I select the App with the engine off, I get a message to start the engine and I see vehicle and "track" image on the right of the screen, but when I start the engine it switches to the "unavailable" message. I know Parking Assist has been problematic, but does anyone have any ideas? I double checked my CCF changes and they match what's shown in this thread.

You gotta be a bit more descriptive in telling me what yopu turned off and on; with a 2025 I have a hard time believeing you have water ingress which affects older RRs; but you could have a bad module or ground; Id check the grounds near the module for V loss.
