But I find it extremely scary and braking is harch, not sure if I will be brave enough to use it when I really need it…
Is your Defender a US, UK or other country model? Curious if there are differences in country setups.

Also do have any other CCF files modified for other things? Do you have ACC from the factory or GAP enabled?

Just wondering if other settings were changed that could also be impacting the parking process.

Hi
It's a Swedish/EU car P400e with ACC from factory.
It is lacking clearview/camera on the roof antenna.
I have activated tow assist, dynamic mode and configurable terrain response.
When the parking assist is activated in Pivi pro I get a small blue icon in the lower right corner indicating that it is active...

Not sure it matters, but I first got it active in semi auto mode, and changed to full auto afterwards...

@Johan6504@gmail.com can you clarify what you mean with the comment about semi-auto mode and then full auto? Was that a CCF that you changed?

Curious if it was related to this CCF file.
MultiCAN-786 ParkAssist
Standard: Not Fitted
Change to: Full Auto VarD (Fully automated parkassist with automated steering breaking accelaration and gears)

Yes, it is related to different options in 786.

Fellas. You won’t get park assist. Literally like there’s only a couple of unicorns out there able to do it.

yes theres settings but the software is baked into the bcm and 99% of 20-24 defenders don’t have it on our bcms. It’s impossible to write software to the bcm and no one, including GAP can write the self parking software to the bcm, because if they could they would have advertised it already and I’m not even talking about the GAP tool we all buy but thefastlane service Patrick offers beyond the tool.

you’d have to find a country specific used bcm then swap it and change the ccfs and you have about a 1% chance of getting it working.

Ouch! Just when I was about to try it out. Well, I'm off on a biz trip next week, so I'll put it deep down on my Defender To Do list.

@verrilli Can you verify where your P400 is? Are you in North America, or somewhere else?

I’m in the USA. I didn’t use G4 though, I used the other one from Korea.
