For anybody who's not got a reservation (or has their emails from Ineos blocked) a new Q&A video dropped today for North America. I sure wish they would publish a transcript, which I could have skimmed in 3 minutes, rather than 20 minutes worth of talking heads. But there's info (a little) in it.

Latest Q&A with British sounding guys assuring us all is well

The question they didn't answer that is plaquing me the most: What happened to the orange nose and tail stripes? I built my dream truck with them last year and now they've disappeared from the configurator. Choosing "Contrast Elements" only offers painted roofs and ladder frames now.

You could always get a wrap if you wanted orange at the front and rear.

I''m 99% sure those were both deleted as options. It was either on YouTube that I saw it or some rando interview. They commented that they were too complicated. Apparently it was a wrap and they had to wait too long for the paint to cure before they could apply it.

They didn't mention anything about the undercarriage or roof color options though.

Bastards. That was the only reason I was getting one. Who else offers a contrast-color tailgate and nose cone?

The roof in black or white and the ladder frame in red, gray or black, are still on the options list.

It probably doesn't have a Toot button though.

the ladder frame is powered coated and waxed so they stay. The roof is painted so they stay. The wrap was removed because the paint needs to curw longer before applying the wrap. Plus the team noticed pealing and because their warranty, they would be replaing the wrap on regular basis. You might want to do a wrap and then throw on ppf and then ceramic cost. That should only cost you 12grand.
