That's great to hear as reviews l've seen say it's compromised on road.

I guess compromised compared to a vehicle that's designed primarily for on road use.

With live axles it's never going to be a Discovery Sport. But off road it's hard to beat.

Like the Wrangler l guess.

Okay but you can't lump Tampa and Orlando. It's a 2 to 4 hour drive. Enough of you Brits have moved here to open pubs and "brighten" our water parks, you could have just asked one of them.

I'm sure they'll have it castrated in no time.

Get some 22" alloys, a chav-spoiler, tatty body kit, and some needless side steps on there pronto.

Increase downforce. A must in a purpose built off-roader.

I'm not big into sports-cars but I sometimes wonder if there is a UK "Rural" company that fits lifted suspension and 35" mud terrain tires on 15" steels to Porches and Lambos.
Run by a bunch of pipe smoking flat cap adorned Yorkshiremen hanging about on muddy Massey Fergusons.

^^ Great question.

And of course, the answer is, no, not English gentlemen; Stuttgart leather-aproned craftsmen handle it quite nicely right there on the regular production line in der Fatherland. 911 Dakar:

I'm not sure 15" wheels would clear the 390mm discs though.

They talk about keeping it on brand, i dont think they will put a lowering kit. But one only have to look at all the new defenders in their shop to get sense how they murder a car. Urban probably found it super easy since they already were starting with 20's

I didn't know you could spec a Grenadier with 20"s.

All these spoilers, body kits and sidesteps just remind me of my first car. 1.0L VW Polo with an OEM spoiler and a "PLUMB-like" sticker on the fuel cap. ~50 HP of raw power. It was "the ****".

Saw one of Urbans "creations" on the interwebs recently. Lovely winch, Shiny black 22" alloys and Pirellis. Spoiler, body kit for that ground effects etc. I guess I'm officially an old fart.

With precious little real estate to go anywhere, the market for the neutered off-roader in the UK appears to be the dominant one. Almost every Defender I saw there in November was blacked out, rolling on 22"s with spoiler. They know they're well set. A very good business model.

My friend and neighbor five houses down liked my 22 so much he ordered a 23 (long time LR/RR guy.) He got it murdered by Urban (all black everything. Literally, nothing is not black.) It’s, ummm, very urban looking.
