Here is a video from Robert Pepper talking about suitability of using it a tourer. At end he compare prices and comments he notes that he chose the base vehicle for the comparison. May times those vehicles would need additional upgrades to be on par with the Grenadier. Next video will be offroad comparison between the L663, LC and Ford Everest

@ADVAW8S
I love these guys videos. Watched quite a few of his now. He is a real trove of useful information. He has a really good one with a Jimny discussing the 3 types of traction control and how they relate to off-road/on-road driving. He seems like a good bloke too. Can we spec that roo-bar in the states I wonder?; or will it be kept from us in the top shelf antipodean cookie jar akin to the LR version.

It's totally a top shelf only available in Austrilia. Rumor says it is made by ARB but no one can confirm or deny.

Yea I feel like Robert is a straight shooter when he gives reviews and provides a dose or reality to all the hype.

Yeah I like his style of delivery/instruction very much.

I'd be surprised if ARB designed it given the flaws he points out. They usually deliver a pretty high quality product from their factory in Melbourne.

LR's is similarly lacking mounts for antennae and sand flags but I guess it's an easy enough work around. LR's is made in China of course.

Two weeks until Ineos announces their retail partner network... I'm curious where the closest dealer will be to Orange County (CA).

Our Defender has been nothing short of exceptional... I'm glad it's staying in the family

The first US owner Grenadier has rolled off the line today. Prospective owners will start receiving them in Nov.

Currently there are 40 grenadiers in the states that will be given to the dealers for test drives. On 9/28, the dealers will be announced and you can book a test drive. @GavinC you up for a test drive and then a beer? My Grenadier won't show up until Q1 of 2024.

I hope all is well. As you may have heard, Ineos has announced US dealers and the third week of October brings test vehicles. Delievery of early adopters start in November.

Following up on his previous video, Robert Pepper dropped a new video. This time the video starts his comparison of Grenadier versus best of best in off road. This is part one of several. Comparison is l663, lc300 and a new patrol.

He’s usually on point with all his facts

he didn’t know the rear locker can selectively be turned on/off in the Defender. Perhaps the one they had did not have TR2. In which case he is correct.

Defender seemed to be the one to match in this short test.

that Y62 Patrol is a beast. A very thorough and fair comparison as always. No idea why he named his channel impossible to remember some inside joke I’m too dumb to figure out most likely.

I agree. His review showed that JLR are miles ahead of everyone in terms of traction control systems. The L663 walked its way up that hill.
