I would like to upgrade my premium lights to the matrix lights, have looked and can’t seem to find much for the adaptive matrix lights out there used. I’ve looked in different countries on ebay and can’t seem to find actual matrix lights even though they claim to be. The HB wattage on the matrix should be 58,4W instead of the 29,3W on the premium.

Hi. If I am not mistaken most (if not all) the units for sale on Ebay are actually Matrix. Bear in mind that I may be wrong but in scouting around the web I came across codes L8B2 13W029 FH and L8B2 13W030 FF as being that model. And all the headlights on Ebay show those codes for left and right...
With that said, if you go ahead and do the upgrade I would be interested in purchasing your Premiums from you.

Thanks

I believe those are the secondary part numbers for premium headlights.
Searching that part number on eBay you get this label, which is a match for specs to the label on my 2020 factory premium headlights.

The matrix lights should have higher spec like this:

Thank you, Thank you, thank you!!!!!! You have just done for me exactly what I was hoping someone would do. That is show me a picture of their Premium headlight and tell me what code it shows. So obviously the page that I got the info from is wrong. The headlights that I had bought (and returned, UGH!!!!) were actually Premiums. All right, no huge deal. I can purchase them again. Will now work with the scanner to identify what changes need to be made to be able to fit those Premiums on our car....

Once again, thank you!!

No problem, there are so many versions of headlights numbers just slightly off.
You should be able to upgrade them relatively easily from what Ive seen.
Good luck!! if anyone has any more info on the matrix upgrade I’m all ears!
