Default Height of Defender 110 and Gap Tool

I believe the height of my new garage entrance is 77 inches which is what my defender is saying how tall it is. I have the 19 inch wheels, does that make the vehicle even shorter than it says on the screen? I also have the gap tool. How much lower can I drop the air suspension with it and will I be able to save the height to a setting?

Trying to avoid modifying the garage for now and really want to get the defender in the garage for winter.

Rim size is irrelevant as all the tire diameters are the same (32" OEM)

You can drop it down all the way to the bump stops. It's in height control menu. Select that option and you drop all the way down.

I had the same issue as I live in a mid-century modern with a super low garage. Most garage doors with auto openers have an adjustment where you can adjust the door to pull back further - thus giving an inch or two more clearance from the edge of the door. I have a gap tool but didn't lower mine yet. But I do have to go to access height and lock it every time i enter - just to be safe. And I wont be able to do anything roof rack related until I move into a new house. :/

Also remember the shark fin antenna - which adds an inch or so to the height. You also have to look at the bottom of the garage door - as there are often pieces of metal that can protrude downward when the door is up...these are usually in the center right where the shark fin is - of course.

Here is what i had to do.

To be sure, you can look at your tire size on its sidewall to compare to the factory/stock tire size. Also, you can put a 2x4 or similar across your roof and measure to it's top to account for the "fin" antenna, then measure your garage. No need for the cool "vehicle height info" on the PIVI. People have been measuring the height for many yrs without a car attempting to tell us what it might be...
