I do agree starting from a stop with brake hold sucks. but Ive never had it come on of off with out me applying extra pressure to the pedal. I dont mind it, it allows me to take my foot off the brake when sitting at long lights., thats the only time it turns on for me. and i usually turn it off by applying a little gas before i actually start moving again.

Apparently I must modulate or press the brake harder then most when setting still, my hold kicks in at least 60-70% of time.
Got my gap tool all setup, so far have the start stop crap shut off permanently, and opened my exhaust valves at least in dynamic mode, next I will be trying to get rid of the hold feature.

Brake hold now disabled.
Loving this GAP tool. Really is making a big difference when it come to making the vehicle just the way I want it.
