Default If you get locked out of your PiviPro PIN after service...

Had my L460 serviced (oil change) and the dealer put some different PIN in. Impossible to reset it, not via phone app, not via inControl website, not via Pivi screen.

Turns out the PIN I believe is reset by their Topix tool. It's always either 1970 or 1926. Both important years for the Land Rover brand and used across all dealerships as a standard. In my case it was 1926 and I was able to erase it via the Pivi screen (you need to know the PIN to be able to change it or erase it). I tried all easy combinations like 1234, 0000, 9999, to no avail. 1926 did it.

I am guessing it's not standard for them to be resetting that as it would **** off a lot of customers. My 2026 was in recently for an oil change and they didn't reset a pin but it is great to have this knowledge for the future.

This is the kind of thing I tuck away into my Rover stuff notes pages.

This might have happened to me because I asked them to turn off the mirror auto-fold thing. They ended up turning the whole EUCD off and the manual fold/unfold functionality disappeared from the door. They might not even have realized they screwed that up. Later on I reversed what they did with the mirrors using the GAP tool.
