I love my new 2018 Discovery HSE Lux Td6.

I connected new accounts for Maps, ATT Mobile Data, and InControl. InControl App is not refreshing (shows old data about the the car), I will most likely have to contact LL for this - this is a side story.

I wanted to ask here, how can I reset the master PIN on the car (without knowing the master PIN). Resetting system to factory requires the Master PIN which I dont have...

I circled back through my local dealer for this and they want to get the car in the service center for this ($$$), I was hoping can find and do it on my own. Can someone shed some light on this?

(PS: I tried googling "default LL pin", came up with 1926, tried that and it did not work)

This is just a guess; have you tried the last digits of your VIN?

 

What are you looking to reset? I would be careful about doing system resets that risk corrupting the computer systems. That could be a very expensive fix...
Is there a specific issue you are looking to resolve?

 

I was fortunate enough to get a response from previous owner after I emailed the address I saw in the InControl live settings, I got the pin and rest the master pin.

I did not go to reset the system to factort, per previous comment, but now I don’t have to.
I have setup new map, ATT, and InControl accounts and everything is set. The only thing pending is for LL to email me invite to renew InControl subscription because right now car data is not refreshing, called LL rover and they said I just need to subscribe
