It's a Defender. It's part of the design. Exposed functional fasteners.

They're nice alloy screws / bits... these are not cheap.

Ever seen a bridge, or a building structure... where you can see the beautiful stainless steel attachments? The Guy Nordensen structural attachment points for the IM PEI Louvre pyramid ? I'm not suggesting the Defender door panel screws are this level of design brilliance... but again, this thread missing the point completely by talking about covering these up.

You can easily go buy a Range Rover Sport for the same money with no exposed fasteners...
