Excited to finally join the forum! Last week, I took delivery of my 2023 Defender 110 X in Santorini Black over Vintage Tan/Ebony. So far, I am extremely happy with the car. I ordered it back in December, it got delayed a few times, but alas I was able to have every option I wanted (dealer didn’t cut anything out). The only “quirk” with the car is that it has the jump seat option because I didn’t select wireless charging so according to the dealer, the jump seat was automatically added, not a big deal, just a cool feature you don’t see often. Will take some more photos soon! Jump seat down. Jump seat up. Delivery day. Had to go back and pickup the spare tire cover as it came separately from the car. After getting the windows tinted. My cars follow a theme.
I have the jump seat up front and have really appreciated it. In addition to it just being cool, it has served three main functions for me.
1 - Using when 6 people need to be in the car. It’s not good for long drives, but in a pinch it is helpful.
2 - It makes a good divider with the back seat if needed. We put it up when our dog is in the front seat to keep her from trying to climb into the back.
3 - For shorter drivers (like my wife) who have to move the driver seat further forward, it creates a longer armrest that extends closer to the free my of the car than the regular center console arm rest would.
