Default key fob

My 2020 has an intermittent issue where it doesn't unlock when im standing right next to the door. At times I have to take out the key and put it up against the handle.
The local dealer has seen this and has a hack fix they can apply. I believe this is somewhat common.

Has anyone had this issue and found a proper fix? LR has not put out a recall bulletin as of yet.

There's a recent thread detailing this.

I believe the receiver for the fob is on the right side of the vehicle (if you think about it, on British any Indian market vehicles, that puts it closer to the driver).

Anyway what you're experiencing is common.

At least one poster here had it fixed when his dealer moved the receiver to the left side.

I'm not sure it's enough for me to pursue, but it happens to us too.

well 1) it’s pretty nuts if you ask me to have a car like this and have to complain about fob 2) I’d expect them to move things accordingly when they make LHS / RHS models.

The Australian makes have driver on the right side so hopefully it will just work for me :P

For what it’s worth, when my phone is in the same pocket as my key it seems to block the signal from the key fob. Remove my phone and it functions just fine.
