It's only active in double-lock if you have it

There are no provisions for double-lock, volumetric alarm, or tils sensors on NAS Defenders.

Glad I wasnt the only one that noticed this... I will be seeking a replacement... doesnt have to be loud, but can't be the OEM high pitch beep either.

Maybe someone already pointed this out, but I could swear mine only does the mini honk if I press the lock button twice. Single press flashes lights and doors lock. Am I imagining that or have I magically found some setting that controls this that I'm not aware of. Note I Use picked my new to me 2021 a week or two back so I will have to double check this tomorrow.

Single-press on the key fob locks.
Double-press sets the alarm.
The mini-honk tells us so.

Cheers

Same! Are you doing stealth or gloss?

Today was the first time I regretted not having a louder horn during driving. There was a driver in front of me using his phone and the light was green. The puny sound of my horn honking was prob not enough to overcompensate for his loud music because I did it like 4 times before he noticed the light had turned green.

I’m going to look for an alternative but if anyone has one already and would like to recommend theirs please let me know.

Unfortunately, even a louder horn will probably not be enough. We are living in a world of ignorant, self-centered people who care only about themselves and really don’t give a rat’s *** about the world around them. As you sit at a traffic light, one can observe all the drivers around them immediately press their phone to their faces for a multitude of incredibly important reasons, perhaps a world changing Tik-Tok video, or to inform their friends of what they intend to eat for lunch that day. You know, things that absolutely CANNOT wait. A cell phone is a great tool, or implement for most, but also one of the worst time-sapping, brain cell dissolving toys ever invented. My opinion only, of course, as I’m sure many will strive to disagree.
