I just did the 1.5" lift rods and love the look on my Defender. Lift rods are cheap and super easy to install/remove. If you are in doubt, spend the money and take a look. If you don't like it super, super easy to switch back.
I had my dealership install the 1" Proud Rhino lift rods and they didn't voice or raise any concerns about the warranty. I checked with Lucky8 prior to purchase and they replied they had not had any issues.
I like the slight lift and have not had any issues since doing so.
Got it all sorted. Settled on no lift for now, for a couple reasons. First, I love it just the way it is. Second, have to get an alignment after and that’s just a pain in the *ss where I live. Third, why risk having to argue with my local dealership on warranty?
its CPO warranty lasts until 9/7/2025 and unlimited miles. 5yr/unlimited from original date of new sale. Mantra 20” wheels Toyo AT3 275/55/20. Only 4lb heavier than oem and 3pms rated. No rub at all.
most lift to avoid rubbing when going larger in tire. but it’s the combo of larger tire and more aggressive offset or wider wheel that causes rubbing
i had to do a 1 inch lift to clear a 275/55/20 ko2 with aftermarket wheels with an offset 10. still rubbed a little in access mode
