I went with a Laser linear elite and a product that wirelessly senses high beam and activates the lazer through the OBD port. This means I didn't have to tap any wires. Downside is I have to use the high/low manually and deactivate matrix but I gladly do that to get the brighter light. Easy to turn off via my phone and activate matrix if needed.

Care to share what dongle you went with. I've been eyeing off this one: https://www.xbb.se/en/xbb-dongle-xbb-powerunit/
