The new RR and RRS have a 19 or 23 speaker system (depending if the tailgate event suite is specced), with the extra wattage made for the headliner speakers. Adding dynamat or any kind of sound deadening in the doors improves sound quality significantly. Also, I don’t think it sounds good with the baseline EQ. Moving treble almost all the way up and bass and subwoofer at 2/3 of the way sounds best to me.
is there a way to confirm this, perhaps by looking at the Amp or something? im not surprised that it's a typo, but I'll be more satisfied if I can confirm the wattage with my own two eyes.

Yes, all the literature states that the surround sound is a 15 speaker, 700w system. The amplifier is located in the cargo area behind the plastic trim on the driver's side. There is no label or anything that states the wattage on the amplifier. I have attached a screenshot from the 21MY brochure, as well as the spec sheet directly from Meridian. All other MYs have the same specs when it comes to the audio system apart from 23MY and newer, where the base system was dropped in favor for Meridian on all trim levels.
