That said, has anyone with the 5/6/22 build date there were at least 3 of you other than me … received an update on their builds ?
I've been loosely following this thread of late. My allocation for a P300 SE was February and I had been given a 5/24/22 build date previously. I reached out to my SA this afternoon only to find he had left the dealership. The new person sent me updated info, to whit, my Defender was built on 5/2/22 and is scheduled for handover on 6/24/22, almost a month earlier than the original date of 7/22/22. The new SA said it would be more realistic to assume it will be in your hands between those dates

I wonder if the war in Ukraine created some production capacity since orders from Russia are no longer accepted, and under the circumstances likely not many from Ukraine either.

It did. They moved my production date from 5/30 to 5/6. And handover moved from 8/1 to 7/14 for me. But it has been crickets since mid April which is when that update was made.

On the other hand I just noticed that on the latest Order Form that the base price of the 110S P300 is now $57,200, an increase of $ 1,900 since February.

So which price do we pay if we ordered before Feb? The price as of ordering or the price as of delivery?

I am going to ask the Sales Manager and see what he says.

Would be curious to see what happens. Tesla honors price at ordering... but it seems like OEMs go back and forth. Some charge at delivery some don't... I think I am walking away if they charge more. Already on the fence with the automotive market due for a correction anytime. Buying at the absolute peak is of little interest.

Just checked in with my SA and he said my delivery has moved up a week!

Mine went up $1300 between my order last March and delivery last November. I also had a verbal deal for $750 off sticker which I assumed would not happen.

My sales guy called when it arrived and told me not to be surprised when I see the higher price on the window sticker because they were going to take care of it all. Idk if LR kicked some back to them or not but better dealers won't make you pay.

Very interesting. I am assuming you ended up paying the agreed upon amount you had during the order process?

I am already a bit concerned around being hit with a "mark up" during delivery so this one will likely just make things worse.
