I do remember that I talked to at least 1 dealer each in FL and CA who could, just didn't write them down.
Great information, this list will save me lots of time. I'll start calling around. Obviously trying to avoid market-adjusted prices, so hopefully one of these might have stopped by now. I'll also reach out to ParkPlace off 114 as you recommended.

I was fully prepared to order from there, so if you haven’t called them, I’d recommend them for sure. Otherwise, it seems that it is all about luck. I had the same conversations with Ford and Toyota in the last 6 months. It’s not just LR. All dealers are keeping anything they have. And yes, you sign a crap ton of paperwork about traveling out of the country and state. They protect the buy even when you are actually taking it home!
That's great luck, happy to hear that worked out so well for you. I'll reach out to Fort Worth and see what an ETA for a new build is from them.

Finally - ordered March 16th, original delivery date was 7/22, finally got it today (9/19). So cool and so nice to drive.

Gotta order side steps and roof light pods from Vulcan, and get it tinted now.

When we pulled up the dealer offered us $20k cash to not take delivery and let them resell it. We declined but got a lot of complements in the parking lot finishing up paperwork.

Looks good but damn, that's a lot of strength to turn down their offer! If you're looking at the Union Jack sidesteps at Vulkan, Lucky8 sells the same ones cheaper. The shipping kills you going from the UK to the States.

Distance doesn't matter to me, a road trip after pick-up would be really fun. Feel free to DM or reply with suggestions to help out.
I know it's not an SE, but if interested, we are selling our 2023 Land Rover Defender 110 30th anniversary edition, you can find it in the classifieds section.

Default Early October delivery anyone?

My rig has attached/below commitment for now. Anyone in similar timelines and got an update from dealer that yours is on a ship from England? Looks like there is going to be another port worker strike in England end of September and concerned this might delay delivery if it’s no loaded before. I’m just calculating based on 7~10 day sail time from England to Newark/Baltimore port.

I ordered in Dallas in May, got allocation in June. I am set for delivery next week, that seemed pretty quick to me.

Was it an Eiger Gray X-Dynamic HSE with Ebony interior, pretty much loaded but without air suspension? If so, that was one that the guy ordered for me without telling me. I couldn't have one without the air suspension.

Last week, my lockdown/build/delivery dates were all pushed out 3-4 weeks.
Today, the delivery date was pulled back to the original date of 12/9-12/10.

Lockdown was moved to tomorrow (was originally 9/14), build is now 10/21.

Fingers crossed!

This is for a P300 90.
